1. Site Assessment & Planning

Measure the total perimeter accurately. Identify corners, gates, slopes, and obstacles. Decide on mesh height (1.2m – 2.4m recommended) and density (standard or high). Mark post positions (typically 2.5m – 3m spacing for panels, closer for high security).

2. Install Support Posts

Dig holes at least 600mm – 800mm deep (deeper in soft soil or high wind areas). Place posts (steel I-beam or Y-posts) and concrete them in. Allow 24–48 hours for curing. Follow our post height recommendations:

• 1.8m mesh → 2.4m posts
• 2.4m mesh → 3.0m+ posts

3. Prepare the Framework (if required)

For maximum strength, weld or bolt horizontal rails between posts. Ensure the structure is plumb and level.

4. Unroll or Position Mesh Panels

Start from one end or corner. For rolls, carefully unroll while wearing full protective equipment. For panels, lift into position using at least two people and align them with the support posts.

5. Secure the Mesh

Attach using heavy-duty spider clamps, bolts, or welded tabs every 300 – 500mm vertically and horizontally. Overlap sections by at least one diamond pattern. Ensure no gaps larger than the mesh aperture. Tighten all fixings securely.

6. Finishing Touches

Install corner bracing and gate integrations. Add concertina razor wire or electrification on top for layered security. Trim any sharp edges and perform a final tension check.

7. Inspection & Handover

Inspect the entire installation for weak points. Test stability. Provide maintenance instructions to the client (annual checks recommended).
